Restrictions on Vehicles and Parking Guidelines for Sunset Cove – 1/1/ 2023
Under the Sunset Cove documents recorded in January, 2017, Article XIII Section 1 (k), (i) through (xii) of the Amended and Restated Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions of Sunset Cove, the Restrictions on Vehicles and Parking for Sunset Cove were listed. In addition to these restrictions, the Sunset Cove Board of Directors has adopted additional guidelines while remaining within these listed restrictions. It is understood that all residents will be held responsible for the guidelines below in addition to those in Article XIII Section 1 (k), (i) through (xii). It is the intent of the Board to be clear, consistent, and fair to all residents and visitors in Sunset Cove with these revised guidelines.
GENERAL RESIDENT AND VISITOR PARKING
1.) Only normal passenger vehicles are allowed on the streets, driveways, and parking pads in Sunset Cove except for those enclosed in a garage.
2.) Commercial vehicles, as defined on the attached page, are not allowed on the driveways and parking pads in Sunset Cove except for those enclosed in a garage.
3.) Commercial vehicles may park on the street during the time they are performing a service in Sunset Cove, but not overnight.
4.) Resident vehicles must be parked in their own driveway or in their own garage.
5.) For all vehicles, tarps/coverings are not permitted unless enclosed in a garage.
6.) Parking on the grass is not permitted for all vehicles in Sunset Cove.
7.) No vehicles may be parked on the streets of Sunset Cove between 12am and 5am.
8.) Residents and Visitors are to obey all posted signs and yellow curbs throughout Sunset Cove.
9.) All vehicles parked in Sunset Cove are subject to ticketing and/or towing, without notice, for any violations of these guidelines and Article XIII Section 1 (k), (i) through (xii).
VISITOR PARKING ONLY
1.) The Visitor Parking Spaces will be clearly posted by signs throughout the community.
2.) Any Resident vehicle found in a Visitor Parking Space may be ticketed and/or towed, without notice.
3.) Any vehicle in the same Visitor Parking Space for 72 hours without moving, will be ticketed and subject to towing without notice.
RESIDENT TEMPORARY PARKING ONLY
1.) The Resident Emergency Parking Spaces will be clearly posted by signs throughout the community.
2.) Any Resident parking in a Resident Emergency Parking Space must have a Sunset Cove permit. This permit will be a decal attached to the lower driver’s front windshield.
3.) A formal application for a permit will be mailed to the Resident upon the Resident’s request to AMI. The permit application is to be completed, signed, and sent to AMI.
4.) There will be (1) permit allowed per unit for each of the 135 units in Sunset Cove.
5.) The permit (decal) is valid for (1) year. If you need a new permit during that year, you must remove the decal from the windshield and submit it with another formal application for a new permit. If you do not enclose the decal, you will be charged $25 for a new permit.
6.) Any vehicle found in a Resident Emergency Parking Space without a Sunset Cove permit (decal), may be ticketed and/or towed, without notice.
7.) Any vehicle parked in a Resident Emergency Parking Space for more than (24) hours may be ticketed and subject to towing without notice.
