Enforcement of Sunset Cove Parking Guidelines

Adopted November, 2019  Effective January 1, 2020

The following guidelines will be followed in the enforcement of the Sunset Cove Parking Regulations:

1st Violation  –  An orange violation sticker highlighting the violation will be attached to the vehicle.

2nd Violation  –  An orange violation sticker will be attached to the vehicle stating the violation and a written warning that the next violation will result in the vehicle being towed.

3rd Violation  –  The vehicle will be towed – no warning.

4th Violation or more  –  The vehicle will be towed – no warning.

Violations will continue to accumulate until new decals are issued – approximately one (1) year.

If there is a dispute about a violation, a vehicle owner will be given the opportunity to appeal any violation to the Board at a regularly scheduled Board meeting. The vehicle owner will supply the evidence to the Board to validate their claim.

The appeal may NOT be based on the following:

  1. The vehicle owner did not know the rules.
  2. The vehicle owner does not agree with the rules.
  3. The vehicle owner claims there were no parking spots available.

All parking information on Restrictions, Guidelines, Commercial Vehicles, and Enforcement will be posted on the Sunset Cove Website:     sunsetcovehoa.net
